Disasters!!
Although this pram was purchased from a well known auction site, from a reputable seller too! this is just to let you pram fans know, that we can all get our fingers burnt, and sometimes learn the hard way!
This LBC was bought by me, one picture only on the listing, taken from a distance, which can make a pram look spectacular! I paid just a few hundred pounds for this, and when it arrived i cried! as i had sold my stunning LBC crescent b, and bought this..needless to say i moved it on, to a really good friend of mine, it has been beautifully bought back to life!
i lost around a fair few pounds but hey ho! as they say....
make sure the listings have lots of info: lots of pictures, find out the history of the pram if you can..
this poor pram had not one area of anything good, if you see what i mean? needless to say, i never received any refund and the seller changed there i.d!!
Silver Cross disaster no 2!
Stunning Chromework!
You would have thought after the LBC disaster i would have learnt my lesson, but i still had faith in humans!
this, again on the same site, two pictures this time, pram was in London, only paid 90 pounds plus the courier another 30 pounds on top....i did ask lots of questions, but not getting any response,i continued, bid and won!
the pictures speak for themselves, i moved it on for 20 pounds!....that was a lesson i did learn.
